My Ranger started doing exactly the same thing yesterday morning. I bought a new Motorcraft fuel filter today and plan to install this weekend.
My 2005 has the same issue but no spark and no gas
I have the same problem, I got my battery, starter and alternator checked and all passed. I even replaced my fuel filter and I thought the problem fixed but it came back a week later. It sometimes will shut off on my while im driving at low idle speeds or sometimes won't start when I turn the key, only cranking.
