My car won't start. Some show stndrd on millage. How do i fix it ?

Yeah, I'm having that same problem as well. My XLT won't start but keeps displaying 'STANDARD' on the information display in the instrument cluster. What seems to be the problem? Pls help!

Any update to this issue? Did you come to a conclusions for the error?

I had this issue. It was due to a flat battery and a broken alternator. I recharged the battery and replace the faulty alternator. The vehicle started and hasn't had this problem since.

Same issue car won't start and standard shows where the mileage is. I'll recharge the batter but how do I get rid of the error message of standard ?

Dash show stndrd wont start what can it be plz help
