Sağdaki düşük far çalışmıyor

Aydınlatma Sigorta

2014 3. 75000 miles

Sol taraf farları iyi, sağ taraf düşük ışın devresi ölü gibi görünüyor. Ampul iyi. Kitaplar düşük ışık için sigorta göstermiyor, hele bir tane de her iki taraf için.

Computer needed reset and indeed there are no fuses for low beam nor tail lights. Thx.

In the the Ford rangers the BCM or body control module are fitted with the field effect transistor there for if a short occurs the gate closes no voltage is supplied to low beam it prevents the fuse from shorting out or circuit overloading blowing the fuse, possible cause circuit short to ground etc or aftermarket accessories such as spot lamps fitted.to solve the issue take your Ford to a Ford dealership and they will do a diagnosis on your issues, secondly if the problem still present they will run a pcm/bcm reprogramming,if the lights still does not comes on replace the BCM,thanks hope this information help.

I'm glad its not just me with this problem. My left headlight stopped working but still had high beam, so I bought a pair of new globes and replaced them. Still didn't work. I rang Ford and they explained I must bring the car in for a reset, i'm thinking your joking. OK, $55 later, head light is working. One week later, my left tail light stops working. I rang Ford and asked if we need to plug in the computer again and they said the tail lamps are not controlled by the same. They convinced me there was damage to the wiring loom and remove the tub and look for damage. Well!!! Not a five minute job, removed the tub and found nothing. Put the car back together and what do you know, the tail lamp was working again. My left headlight has now stopped working on 4 occasions and now has cost over $200 to reset the computer each time. Today I took the car in to do another reset and it wont accept the fault, so no reset no headlight. Rats have been present under the hood, which I treated immediately and they did minimal damage, but Ford said pull out the battery and wiring loom and look for damage. OK, I'm a sparky, no problem, 3 hours later. All this to no avail, no damage at all. Still no headlight, must go back to Ford for another reset, as I had the battery out, nothing else works.Sorry to ramble on, but this does your head in and this car is 3 years old and just out of warranty, so thanks for your input, I really appreciate it, looks like probably a new BCM, I hope these are not too expensive. Regards JB.

Hi, have this problem on my 2012 Ford Ranger T6. Dealership says that BCM can no longer be reset and must be replaced, feels like this is a money making scheme, but none the less. Can these BCM's be repaired, or are there any other way to maybe reset it?

Buy a two relay wiring harness with 4h build connector and run them of the working side. Just carried it out works fine. Ford wanted £1000.00 to fit a new bcm. Part complete from eBay was £8.70

@Ron TaylorHi I got the harness today and fitted to the working side , both dims now work but the relays are buzzing loudly enough when dims are on , any ideas or is this OK

I own a Ranger PX2, 2014 model. I have had the Body Control Module (BCM) reset on low beam by my local mechanic twice now because of low beam not working. First case was only left side then both sides. Each reset cost money. It is my belief that when I connect our caravan to the PX2 the vehicle does not accept the led lights of the van. When I operate the right hand indicator it flashes quickly with van connected. Had a Hidrive canopy fitted in place of the tub, it has led lights but no problem for PX2 , indicators work fine. Phoned Hidrive, they fit resistors in wiring to lights because they knew of a problem with Rangers BCM when used with led lights. Found out about a wiring connector that plugs into the 12 pin socket on PX2 and has a 12 pin socket the van then plugs into. The connector is about 300mm long and cost $83 in Australia. This is a factory part and I suspect it is fitted with resistors to avoid the PX2 headlights issue and make the van appear to have conventional bulbs. When I connect a box trailer with conventional globes there is no problem.I have ordered the connector and the supplier said there are a lot on order, so this may be an indication that the BCM does not recognise led bulbs and could be a common problem. I should also mention that the 2014 Ranger was fitted with conventional bulbs and not leds. Hoping this connector fixes my problem.

Try to disconnect Battery for 30 minutes, then connect back. It may work like normal, BCM reset

Problem now appears to be fixed. Did buy the factory lead and it has built in resistors connected from all actives to ground. Ie left and right turn, brake and park etc. Have now had resistors connected into trailer circuit. All good so far.
