All, the engine light came on and the car slowed down, stopped on the side of the road, turned it off. Then turned the car back on and had a noise coming from under the bonnet, shut it off and now will not start. Anyone know of the main reason? anyone in Perth australia with a diagnostics computer to plug it in and see what is the problem. I asked 1 Ford dealer and told me to bring the car in, just need to know if anyone has or knows of anyone who would ahve the computer to plug it in and find the fault.
On my 2009, 2.3 litre Ranger, all gauges have switched off except for fuel and the engine locks down as soon as it is turned off. Two garages have tried to find the problem but failed. In the past, it has occasionally happened while being driven but the engine has kept on going until it righted itself in a few minutes. Now, it is parked and the engine is locked (with only the fuel gauge working). Any ideas?
